Phoenix at Boulevard Pool canceled due to unforseen circumstance

Las Vegas (Feb. 27, 2013) –Due to an unforeseen circumstance, Phoenix has canceled their show scheduled for Wednesday, April 10 at the Boulevard Pool. The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas is diligently working with the band to try to reschedule the show for later in the year, but a new date has not yet been confirmed. Those in need of a refund can do so by contacting their point of sale, including Ticketmaster at 800.745.3000 or The Cosmopolitan box office at 702.698.7778. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Additionally, The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas has added two new bands to the Spring Concert Series - Tegan and Sara at the Boulevard Pool on Wednesday, April 10 and Yeah Yeah Yeahs at the Boulevard Pool on Saturday, April 13. Tickets are on sale now.

Tegan and Sara’s 13-year career has seen them build an avid global following of fans and fellow musicians alike. Their unique ability to bridge the pop and indie worlds has allowed their music to cross all traditional boundaries of genre, from being covered by The White Stripes to collaborating with superstar DJs such as Tiesto and David Guetta. Having sold nearly 1 million career albums and toured with acts from The Killers to Neil Young, Tegan and Sara recently released their seventh studio album – Heartthrob.

American indie rock trio Yeah Yeah Yeahs formed at the start of the new millennium in New York City. Composed of vocalist and pianist Karen O, guitarist and keyboardist Nick Zinner and drummer Brian Chase, this powerful group boasts three studio albums with a fourth, Mosquito, set to be released on April 16. After acquiring a slew of awards and recognitions for their previous work, the upcoming album will undoubtedly catapult the band into mainstream consciousness yet again.

A unique multi-day entertainment experience offering guests the opportunity to see world-class performances over two back-to-back weekends, the Spring Concert Series will feature Tegan and Sara at the Boulevard Pool on April 10; New Order with special guest Johnny Marr at the Boulevard Pool on April 11; Vampire Weekend with special guest Tanlines at the Boulevard Pool on April 12; Yeah Yeah Yeahs at the Boulevard Pool on April 13; Of Monsters and Men and Local Natives at the Boulevard Pool on April 17; Hot Chip with special guest Four Tet at the Boulevard Pool on April 18; The Postal Service with special guest Yacht at The Chelsea on April 19; and Band of Horses with special guest Jake Bugg at the Boulevard Pool on April 20. Each night, doors will open at 8 p.m. and the show will begin at 9 p.m.

Unlike other shows in Las Vegas, guests are able to buy Spring Concert Series tickets for the entire weekend providing access to multiple shows. Spring Concert Series tickets are available for $141 for April 10 – 13 (price includes tax and service charge) and package goes on sale Friday, March 1. Packages for April 17 – 20 are now sold out. Additionally, general admission tickets to individual shows are available (prices vary) and currently on sale.

A limited number of premium cabanas and mezzanine reserved seating for individual concerts are available by contacting Nightlife Marketing or by calling 702.698.7778. Each concert is an all-ages show and guests must be 21+ to reserve a cabana.
