Sunset Sessions at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas will bring together radio station programmers from all over the country, music supervisors from film, tv, ads, games and sports, major and independent record companies, artist managers, music publishers, press and booking agents and expose them to the latest musical artists. Sunset Sessions’ Main Stage will be located at the Boulevard Pool and will feature 20 – 30 up and coming artists over three evenings as the sun sets over the city. A complete lineup for the Main Stage will be announced soon as well as additional performances by several well-known favorites.

You can secure tickets by making a time commitment or a monetary donation to one of several nonprofit organizations, including Opportunity Village, Three Square, Communities in Schools of Nevada, as well as The Recording Academy’s own MusiCares. Additionally, each Sunset Sessions Vegas artist will announce its own non-profit organization that will also give away tickets in exchange for donations.

OPPORTUNITY VILLAGE

Opportunity Village is a non-for-profit organization serving people in the community with intellectual disabilities, enhancing their lives and the lives of their family. Opportunity Village was founded in 1954 by a small group of local families seeking to improve the lives of their children with intellectual disabilities. Since then, Opportunity Village has grown to become Nevada’s largest private, not-for-profit community rehabilitation program, serving more than 1,700 people annually through vocational training, community job placement, advocacy, and social recreation programs. Three Square

THREE SQUARE

Three Square was established to end hunger in the valley by providing wholesome, nutritious food to non-profit organizations that serve a wide range of Southern Nevadans in need. A national model project inspired by Eric Hilton with a grant provided by the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation, Three Square is a community collaborative partnership with the gaming industry, businesses, non-profit agencies, food distributors, higher education institutions, the CCSD, governmental entities, the media and thousands of volunteers to efficiently and effectively serve hope to those in our community struggling with hunger. Three Square currently provides more than 24 million pounds of food and grocery product, the equivalent of nearly 18 million meals per year to more than 650 Program Partners including non-profit and faith-based organizations, schools and feeding sites throughout Southern Nevada. COMMUNITIES IN SCHOOLS OF NEVADA

Communities In Schools of Nevada is the local affiliate of the nation’s leading dropout prevention organization and Nevada’s most effective intervention program. The CIS mission is to surround students with a community of support so they can succeed in school and achieve in life. CIS of Nevada supports nearly 22,500 students over 36 school sites in Southern Nevada and Northeastern Nevada, connecting them with critical services such as medical and dental care, mental health counseling services, food, clothing, tutoring, career exploration, academic development and other programs. CIS uniquely provides the services on campus, with a full-time Site Coordinator to advocate for at-risk students at partner schools. CIS connects community resources to children and youth using a research-proven model that decreases dropout and increases graduation. Nationwide, CIS provides services in 3,400 schools in the most challenged communities, in 25 states and the District of Columbia, benefitting nearly 1.3 million young people and their families every year.
