Where is my gift card accepted?

Your gift card is accepted at participating merchants located at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. Gift cards may not be used for gaming activities, hotel advance reservations or advanced purchases such as tickets, and are not redeemable for cash. Cards can only be used as a final form of payment.

Where can I purchase a gift card?

You can purchase a gift card  in person at The Cosmopolitan ConciergeMonogram, or at the Sahra Spa & Hammam.

You are also able to purchase a gift card online at  (U.S.-based cardholders only.)

We accept, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express, and will ship directly to your location. (U.S.-based customers only.)

I am purchasing a gift card online. How long will it take to arrive?

Online gift card orders are fulfilled by a third party shipping company and generally take between 7-10 business days. Rush delivery is also available for an additional charge.

How do I check the balance on my gift card?

Do I have to activate my gift card?

Your gift card is activated once it is funded. For example, if you purchased your gift card in person, your card is active since it was funded at the time of purchase. When you order your gift card online, it will arrive already activated.

Do the funds on my gift card expire?

Your gift card does not expire, nor do the funds. However, a monthly maintenance fee of $3 will be deducted from your card balance after 12 months of inactivity.

Are there any fees associated with my gift card?

All fees associated with your card can be viewed on the back of your card and include:

  • A monthly maintenance fee of $3 will be deducted from your card balance after 12 months of no activity.
  • A $5 fee ($20 for express shipping) will be assessed to replace a lost or stolen card.

Can I load additional funds to my gift card?

No, the gift card is a non-reloadable card. Funds are only able to be loaded at the time of purchase. There is no cash access with your gift card and it cannot be used for gaming or gambling purposes.

What do I do if my gift card is lost or stolen?

Retain records of your gift card admin number (located directly underneath your card number) and original receipt of purchase in the case your card is stolen or lost. Immediately contact Customer Service at 800.416.6373 to have your card "blocked" so no unauthorized transactions will be allowed.

Can other forms of payment be used with the Gift Card when making a purchase?

Yes. The customer should inform the cashier how much to deduct from the Gift Card and how much to deduct from the other payment method(s) before the start of the purchase transaction. Please note that some stores are not able to split purchases between Gift Cards and credit or debit cards. In these cases, a customer may need to pay the difference in cash.

Returns, exchanges or disputes

All returns, exchanges and disputes are subject to the merchant's return policy. Funds that are credited by the merchant are usually available 3 - 5 business days after the return is processed. Voided transactions may take longer, sometimes up to 7 business days. We recommend you keep your gift card and the receipt involved with the purchase.

Cardholder Agreement

Your Gift Card is subject to terms and conditions. Gift Cards may not be used for gaming activities, hotel reservations or advanced purchases, and are not redeemable for cash.

Unless prohibited by law, a $3 fee will be deducted monthly from the card balance starting on the first day after 12 months of inactivity. Activity is defined as any action resulting in a charge on the Gift Card balance, other than fee imposition, or adjustment due to error or prior transaction reversal.
